Without the encouragement and support from Vascular Perspectives, I’m not sure that we could have achieved the successful CTO service that we now have.
Guide extensions are specialised devices used to augment the length and support of a standard guide catheter. They are often used in complex PCI procedures, such as highly tortuous vessels, bifurcation lesions and chronic total occlusions (CTOs), where additional backup support is required.
Guide extensions provide deeper intubation into the coronary artery, enabling enhanced device delivery and stability, particularly in instances where the lesion is difficult to reach or cross.
